You have reached Dekken North Boerboels. We are a small, family-run breeding program in South-Western Ontario. To continue the legacy of Dekken Boerboels, PA we have begun a Canadian division know as Dekken North Boerboels. We strive for quality breeding with a personal touch.
Our first dog that we are breeding is Dekken Trinity “Kezzie”. We just call her Kezzie!
About the breed
The Boerboel or “farm dog” is an outstanding breed that is loyal, protective, intelligent, discerning, loving, agile and powerful. It is not a breed for a novice handler because of it’s strength and protective instinct. It is imperative to have a calm confident leader. They are known for defending livestock and humans in remote South African against predators such as baboons and lions.
